Familiarisation with the format & structure of the 11+ tests

Mainly focussing on the CSSE for the local Grammar Schools but we can also work with your child towards the King John entrance test (non-verbal reasoning).

From past papers and related problems through a range of unique and original packages, along with practice using CSSE English and Maths books.

An introduction to the key skills

An introduction to the key skills and concepts covered in the tests.

Writing practice and hints

Particularly focussing on the genres of descriptive writing, Instructional Writing and story writing used in the CSSE exams so far; but also introducing other short writing genres.

Four mock examinations each year

In a small group setting. These come with full and detailed feedback and further practice questions which will be emailed to you within a week of the exam. The papers will then be returned at your next lesson.
